A Dozen Chambers, One Agenda
Last week, 12 Montgomery County business organizations came together to present a united business agenda to the county’s state legislative delegation, during the “Montgomery County Means Business” luncheon. Their agenda outlined five major areas of focus; including, transportation, economic development, education, affordable health care, and representative government.
The luncheon was held at the Bethesda North Marriott. Participating chambers included the Montgomery County Chamber, Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Gaithersburg/Germantown, Silver Spring, Rockville, Olney, Wheaton-Kensington, Potomac, Poolesville, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the African American and Asian Pacific American Chamber.
