Get Dangerous, The Sequel
The Washington Post’s Maryland Moment Blog has a short writeup about the Governor’s speech at Business Day in Annapolis.
The Leadership Briefing definitely had a Campaign 2006 feel to it — all the speakers, not just the Governor. But, here is the Governor’s quote that caught the Post’s attention:
“Everyone in this room got a glimpse of your future [last] Thursday afternoon,” when the legislature overrode his veto and passed legislation forcing Wal-Mart to spend more on employee benefits. “The first Tuesday in November is the only chance you’ll have to do something about it.”
Speaking of the upcoming elections, donate to the Maryland Chamber PAC and help make the Maryland General Assembly more business friendly.
