ICC Moving Forward

The State and Federal Highway Administrations recently completed the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Intercounty Connector (ICC). The Maryland Chamber continues to support the timely construction of this long-overdue highway.

The Environmental Impact Statement is online for public comment through February 27. Submitting comments to the State Highway Administration (SHA) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is quick and easy using the SHA website. Help ensure there is a strong public record of support for the ICC. Submit your comment today.

Click here and complete the online form. Tell SHA and FHWA:

  • You support the ICC.
  • Building the ICC will ease traffic congestion in the Washington, DC metro area.
  • This long overdue project is critical to economic growth, not only for Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, but for all of Maryland. A quality, efficient, and integrated transportation infrastructure is critical to economic and job growth in Maryland.
