U.S. Congress Votes Database

The Washington Post’s U.S. Congress Votes Database is incredible. The site is a database of every congressional vote since 1991. You can browse and sort the votes in a variety of ways:

You can browse through Maryland’s congressional delegation to see how they are voting on the issues you care about. You can also subscribe to your legislator’s RSS feed and get daily updates on their votes.

Click around for a couple minutes and you’ll see how powerful this web application is. You can sort each vote by party, by state, by region — even by astrological sign. You can sort the bills by category, find out who missed the most votes, find out what votes where taken after midnight, and more.

Use the site to review your congressional delegation’s voting records and then register for the Chamber’s Congressional Delegation Dinner to discuss their votes with them.
