District 31 Senate Race in the News

Today’s Washington Post has a nice story on the State Senate race in District 31. There are seven candidates — five Republicans and two Democrats — seeking to replace retiring Democratic Sen. Phil Jimeno.

The three district 31 delegates all contemplated running for the seat, but in the end, Dels. Joan Cadden (D) and Don Dwyer (R) filed to run for reelection to the House of Delegates and Del. John Leopold (R) filed to run for Anne Arundel County Executive. Read the full story here.

The candidate filing deadline was Monday. We mailed our candidate questionnaire to all state candidates today. Hopefully within the next couple weeks, we will start to post all the candidate info and questionnaire responses to MDVoteForBusiness.com, so you can learn more about the candidates running in your district.
