Vote for Business Bandwagon

Today’s Daily Record features a great story about yesterday’s Vote For Business Bandwagon tour stop in Maryland. In addition to touching on yesterday’s events, the story also described some of our election year efforts. Read the full story here.

The Vote for Business Bandwagon is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s nationwide bus tour geared at educating the business community about the importance of getting employees involved in the elections. We were thrilled to be the U.S. Chamber’s first stop.

The events yesterday went very well. Special thanks to Anne Arundel Medical Center for allowing us to bring the bus onto their facility. We had a great time meeting with their staff. Many used the 14 workstations on the bus to register to vote, sign up for absentee ballots, and learn more about their candidates. (Remember, you can encourage your employees to do the same by visiting www.mdvoteforbusiness.com.)

After our visit to AAMC, it was off to Federal Hill for a Meet & Greet with Lt. Governor Michael Steele. Thanks to everyone who braved the 100 degree heat to attend.

Here are some photos from yesterday:
