O’Malley Confirmed for Business Day

Governor-elect Martin O’Malley will be attending the Legislative Briefing during Business Day in Annapolis next Thursday, January 18.

We’ve been labeling him as invited in our communications because Business Day is the day after his gubernatorial inauguration and he already had a pretty full schedule. Thankfully, today his office confirmed that he’ll be there. All the more reason for you to register today!

Yesterday the MCC Transportation Subcommittee had four former Transportation Secretaries including the newly announced John Porcari particpate in TTF seminar at the new House Building in Annapolis. It was an outstanding session with the bottom line emphasis that the business community (Maryland Chamber, GBC, Board of Trade & others) must talk with one voice if we want to be heard re TTF issues going forward.

Congratulations to Jock Menzies, Committee Chair for pulling off this very beneficial session.
