How They Voted: Senate B&T Tax Credit Disclosure
Here is yesterday’s Senate Budget and Taxation Committee vote on the tax credit disclosure bills, SB 614/HB 493. This legislation would have publicly disclosed proprietary business information and imposed burdensome reporting requirements on thousands of Maryland businesses.
The Maryland Chamber fought to defeat this proposal. The House of Delegates passed HB 983— view the floor vote here. But thankfully, the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee rejected the bills. Here’s how they voted:
