Calling All Lacrosse Fans
When you think of the College World Series, you think of Omaha, Nebraska. With the business community’s help, the Camden Yards Sports and Entertainment Commission hopes to make Baltimore synonymous with the NCAA Lacrosse Final Four.
The 2007 NCAA Lacrosse Final Four Championships will be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore this year, before moving to Foxborough, Massachusetts next year. Paul Tiburzi, Managing Partner of DLA Piper and Chairman of the Maryland Stadium Authority’s Camden Yard Sports and Entertainment Commission, is spearheading an effort to sell out M&T Bank Stadium to send a message to the NCAA: Bring the Lacrosse Final Four back to Baltimore in 2009 and beyond.
