Maryland Energy Summit
The Baltimore Sun’s Jay Hancock is at the Maryland Energy Summit, and he has posted an update to his blog. Read more here. According to a press release, the Governor assembled the summit to “bring together community leaders, academic experts, government officials, industry regulators, and business executives to discuss a strategic energy policy. By creating a forum for an honest, open discussion, Maryland will take the first key steps to establish a plan for affordable, reliable, clean energy.”
Heather Hamilton, the Maryland Chamber’s Vice President of Government Affairs, is also at the summit. Hopefully, I’ll have an update from her tomorrow.
