Governor O'Malley Calls For Special Session

Governor Martin O’Malley today called for a special session of the General Assembly to begin two weeks from today, on October 29.

The purpose of the special session will be to deal with the State’s budget deficit. We’ll provide you much more information once we get our hands on the Governor’s bill. You can view the summaries of his proposals on his website, here.
