How They Voted: Sales Tax Expansion to Computer Services
During the House floor debate on the tax bill that was signed into law yesterday (SB 2), Del. Jeannie Haddaway (R-Dist. 37) introduced an amendment to remove the language expanding the sales tax to computer services from the bill.
The amendment failed, but we wanted to ensure that you know how your delegates voted. You can access the vote information here.
The Maryland Chamber opposed the sales tax expansion to computer services. Legislators who voted “yea” supported the Maryland Chamber position.
We’ve also added the vote to our key vote list. See how your legislators voted here.
