General Assembly committees have released agendas for their 2008 interim activities that include several issues of interest to business.

The House Health and Government Operations Committee will receive briefings on self-referral laws governing health care providers, as well as a December briefing on the need to limit or ban pharmaceutical companies from data mining the prescribing habits of health care providers.

The Joint Committee on Health Care Delivery and Financing will meet at least three times to review health care issues.
