The Baltimore Sun’s Jay Hancock, in his July 4 column, said that organizations like the Maryland Chamber should do more to promote teleworking initiatives.

We think he’s right.

One goal of our recently-formed Environmental Task Force is to develop a Green Business Best Practices Guide. To that end, we’re looking for more information about environmental and energy conservation initiatives member businesses have put in place.

Does your business have a teleworking policy? Have you built or leased space in a green building? Do you offer incentives for employees who car pool or use public transportation? Has your business implemented programs to reduce energy or water consumption?
