Limits Raised for Small State Construction Contracts

The Maryland Department of General Services has proposed regulations to raise the limit of small state construction procurements that it issues from $25,000 to $50,000. “Small procurements” are not subject to the approval of state control agencies or the state Board of Public Works. This regulation implements SB 186, enacted at the 2008 session of the General Assembly. For more information contact Ron Wineholt at rwineholt@mdchamber.org.
