Chamber Announces 2009 Business Hall of Fame Inductees
The Maryland Chamber’s Executive Committee is pleased to announce this year’s inductees into the Maryland Business Hall of Fame. Inductees will be honored during the Maryland Chamber’s Annual Membership Meeting & Business Hall of Fame Awards Dinner on Wednesday, April 29, at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore. The 2009 inductees are:
- Bill Couper, President, Mid-Atlantic Region, Bank of America
- June Streckfus, Executive Director, Maryland Business Roundtable for Education
- William R. Teel Jr., CEO, 1 Source Consulting, Inc. and Energy Enterprise Solutions, LLC.
“Through their leadership, creativity and caring, this year’s honorees have made a lasting impact on their businesses and in their communities,” said Chamber Chairman Betty Buck, President of Buck Distributing Co., Inc. “The Maryland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to honor them by inducting them into the Maryland Business Hall of Fame on April 29.”
The Maryland Business Hall of Fame was established in 2000 to recognize the accomplishments of entrepreneurs and business executives throughout Maryland whose contributions, in business and in the community, have helped to advance the quality of life for Marylanders and the state’s business climate.
