Attention young professionals — and companies that employ them. Business Volunteers Unlimited’s Give Program is currently looking for applicants for its class of 2010. This is an outstanding personal and professional development opportunity for young professionals seeking to make a difference in their communities.

GIVE, Getting Involved in Volunteer Experiences, is a program designed to raise awareness among young professionals about the growing need for volunteerism and to engage them in the community while providing educational seminars to help them develop as distinguished civic leaders. The program is currently seeking applicants for its Class of 2010. Participation is limited to 30 people. Apply today!

The 2010 GIVE Class will participate in an eight month program beginning in March. The program will include monthly learning seminars, volunteer opportunities and networking events. There will be seven learning seminars (three exclusive for GIVE Class members), seven volunteer opportunities (three exclusive to GIVE Class members) and five networking events.

Upon completion of the first year, participants will be invited to serve on the GIVE Advisory Board. This second year experience will be a blend of leadership development and continued participation in learning seminars and volunteer opportunities.

Tuition for the program is $400 per year. The application deadline for the 2010 GIVE class is January 15, 2010.
